Artist's Comments

Part of a series for my art 3 class last year that focused on Loki, Norse Trickster Deity.
This was a mixed media piece depicting the punishment of Loki.
-yes, this is old art.

This is fantastic- and I notice that you keep the main thing that so many people lose: entrails, rather than chains.

tha snake spitting venom upon his head, chained with the innards of his own son, Narvi, killed by Vali, his brother because Odin turned him into a wolf.
Beautiful art once more! I love the depiction and the detail. The frame is also lovely.

One of the most depressing tales in the Norse pantheon. The frame is done with water color and some metalic acrylic paint mixed with red tones.
